Professor, Founder of the Roemer Research Collaborative, University of Massachusetts, Boston

 

 

 

Drs. Susan Orsillo and Lizabeth Roemer have collaborated to develop an acceptance-based behavior therapy for generalized anxiety disorder. They are currently conducting an NIH-funded randomized controlled trial to compare their acceptance-based treatment to applied relaxation for individuals with GAD.
